The Columbus Blue Jackets were back at Nationwide Arena Monday, as they defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-1. Columbus is closing in on Pittsburgh in the Metropolitan Division and entered Monday’s game with 32 points on the season.Arizona scored first, as Tobias Reiter scored at the 9:08 mark of the first period on a power play opportunity caused by a Brandon Dubinsky hooking penalty. Columbus would return the favor, as Sam Gagner would score at the 11:39 mark off of a power play opportunity.In the second period, Columbus would strike on the power play again, this time off of the stick of Nick Foligno. Columbus would enter the third period leading 3-1.Sam Gagner would score at the 11:37 mark and Zach Werenski would follow that up and score a goal at the 15:00 minute mark in the third period to make it a 4-1 Columbus victory.Columbus is now 15-5-4 on the season.
