Panthers too strong for Hunters

first_imgThe Intrust Super Premiership NSW winners raced away to the lead after 16 minutes, thanks to three tries from centre Tony Satini. It was all one way traffic with the Hunters struggling to stop the onslaught. Tries came from Darren Nicholls and Viliame Kikau and one to Jarome Luai. The Hunters’ only points came off the boot of captain Ase Boas, who kicked a penalty goal.Satini was not done yet and scored his fourth of the match right on the half-time siren to take the score out to 38-2.It was a much better second half from the Hunters who muscled up in defence, determined not to concede any more points. The Panthers were reduced to 12 men in the 67th minute after Luai was sin binned for a professional foul. This brought points for the Hunters who crossed three times through Adex Wera, Bland Abavu and Boas to help bring some respectability to the score line.last_img
